Installation
To install Wapuu dashboard pet, you can search for the plugin in the WordPress repository and click ‘install’ and ‘activate’.

Location
You can change Wapuu to appear in your admin menu at the top of your WordPress dashboard by changing it in the plugin’s options. To do this go to ‘ Settings’ from the side bar and select ‘Wapuu Dashboard Pet’, then you can change the location of Wapuu on this page using the radio buttons.
Email alerts
By default, Wapuu appears in the bottom right corner of your WordPress admin area as a little visual reminder to maintain your site’s health.
You can however add email alerts to help keep on top of those updates a little better.
To enable email updates, when the plugin is activated go to ‘ Settings’ from the side bar and select ‘Wapuu Dashboard Pet’. This will take you to a simple options page where you can input your email.
With an email address added Wapuu will send you a daily reminder if you have any updates available. If you wish to disable email alerts simply clear your email from the menu page and hit save.
Mood guide
Your Wapuu Dashboard Pet will appear in the bottom right corner of your WordPress admin area by default. However, they might not be the happiest Wapuu depending on how many updates are available on your site. Here is a quick guide to the different moods you might find Wapuu in:

Happy
A happy Wapuu in your dashboard suggests all plugins, themes and core updates are up to date.
Sad
A sad Wapuu in your dashboard suggests one or two plugins might be due for an update. Get them updated pronto to cheer Wapuu up!
Sick
Five or more pending updates for your WordPress site makes Wapuu begin to feel unwell.
Very sick
Seven or more pending updates makes Wapuu very unwell! It’s probably about time those updates were ran.
Distraught
Ten or more pending updates on your WordPress site makes Wapuu feel just about as unwell as can be!
When Wapuu is in their most unwell state nothing else changes in terms of plugin behaviour, you will continue to get your daily email if you have chose to include them in your plugin configuration. Wapuu is a visual representation of your site’s health based on updates.
